In terms of terms, the word ghurur is anything that empowers humans, starting from wealth, position, and desires that make bad actions look good and beautiful. The subject of ghurur in the Qur'an is Satan and the world. The object of ghurur in the Qur'an is from among the human jinn, which consists of groups of disbelievers, hypocrites and unjust people. The forms of ghurur in the Qur'an are beautiful words of Satan, empty wishful promises, and temporary pleasure. The result of ghurur in the Qur'an is that humans fall into fiery hell. Becoming a friend of Satan as a resident of hell and not getting mercy from Allah SWT. This study aims to analyze the meaning, subject, object, forms and consequences of ghurur in the Qur'an from the perspective of Ahmad Musthafa al-Maraghi in Tafsir al-Maraghi. This study uses a library research method as a further discussion. The author uses the thematic interpretation method (maudhu'iy), namely by selecting one theme found in the verses of the Qur'an, collecting them, and concluding explanations from related themes. The results of the analysis show that there are different subjects and objects of ghurur in the Qur'an as well as several forms of ghurur in the Qur'an and the consequences of ghurur in the Qur'an. The results of this study can be used as initial data for subsequent researchers in examining this problem in different contexts and issues.
2025-10-26T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Nandita Dwi Alfathonah, Lafunia ‘Ulya, Firza Rizkawati, Hendra Syafrianto, Zulfi Akmalhttp://ejournal.staipiq.ac.id/index.php/misbah/article/view/97Tafsir of Al-Qur'an Verses about Allah's Tests to the Prophet Ayyub Alaihissalam2024-10-20T13:29:17+00:00Muallimatul Qurani Ilmamuallimatulqurani@gmail.comRusydi AMmuallimatulqurani02@gmail.comNanda Aureliamuallimatulqurani02@gmail.comYelmimuallimatulqurani02@gmail.com
The problems raised in this research are: How did Allah test Prophet Ayyub Alaihissalam in the Qur'an, the method taken by Prophet Ayyub a.s. in facing tests, and what ibrah (lessons) can be taken from the story of the Prophet Ayub a.s. This research is a type of library research, while the method used is thematic interpretation method, and the main sources are the Al-Qur'an and tafsir books. Additional sources are books related to this research. Researchers examined the verses of the Qur'an which include Allah's test to the Prophet Ayub a.s. in the Al-Qur'an, and after analyzing the verses of the Al-Qur'an and the interpretations of the commentators, researchers concluded that the trials that befell the Prophet Ayub (a.s.) in the Al-Qur'an consisted of three parts: the loss of all his wealth, separation from his children, and a serious illness that befell his body. The Prophet Job's attitude in facing these trials consisted of five attitudes, namely: extraordinary patience, gratitude for what befell him, always remembering Allah, not complaining, and continuing to pray and praise Allah. Then, at the end of the study, the researcher took lessons from the story of the Prophet Job (peace be upon him), namely: patience in facing trials, gratitude in all circumstances, the importance of remembrance and prayer to Allah, not despairing of Allah's mercy, and the belief that Allah does not forget His pious servants.
2025-10-26T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Muallimatul Qurani Ilma, Rusydi AM, Nanda Aurelia, Yelmihttp://ejournal.staipiq.ac.id/index.php/misbah/article/view/84Az-Zukhruf in the Qur'an2024-09-19T15:30:01+00:00Azka Putri Insani Azka Putri Insaniazkaputriinsani9@gmail.comAbdul Kadir Naffatiazkaputriinsani9@gmail.comAnouar Bin Khalifahazkaputriinsani9@gmail.comMuhammad Irfanazkaputriinsani9@gmail.comMuhammad Irhash Fakhruddinazkaputriinsani9@gmail.com
The author's background in discussing az-Zukhruf in the Qur'an is that the word az-Zukhruf originally means "gold," which later evolved into "jewelry." This jewelry serves not only as decoration but is also often seen as a symbol of wealth. This symbol of wealth can ultimately deceive people, making them lose sight of the more essential things in life.

In connection with this, the focus of the problem in this research is what is the meaning of az-Zukhruf in the Qur'an? What are the forms and uses of az-Zukhruf in the Qur'an? What lessons can be drawn from the verses about az-Zukhruf in the Qur'an? The objectives to be achieved in this research are to explain the meaning of az-Zukhruf according to the Qur'?n, explain the forms and uses of az-Zukhruf in the Qur'?n and explain the wisdom that can be drawn from the verses about az-Zukhruf in the Qur'an.

In this research, the author uses a qualitative research method with a library research character, and uses the maudh?'i interpretation method, namely selecting one word contained in the verses of the Qur'an, collecting it, interpreting it, and concluding explanations of the related theme.

From the research that has been conducted, it can be concluded that az-Zukhruf in the Qur'an generally refers to concrete decoration that can be seen by humans. However, when az-Zukhruf is connected with the word al-Qaul (speech decorated with lies), it means an abstract decoration. This term is also used as a metaphor for the beautiful but temporary life of this world, like an accessory that looks beautiful when worn, but its beauty disappears when removed. This research also reminds us of the deception that can lead humans to disbelief, because the beauty of az-Zukhruf can be deceptive and make people careless
2025-10-26T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Azka Putri Insani Azka Putri Insani, Abdul Kadir Naffati, Anouar Bin Khalifah, Muhammad Irfan, Muhammad Irhash Fakhruddinhttp://ejournal.staipiq.ac.id/index.php/misbah/article/view/117Amtsal On Worldly Life In The Qur’an According To At-Tafsir Al-Munir2024-11-12T01:07:47+00:00Fauziahfauziahmqr@gmail.comFarid Fauzifauziahmqr@gmail.comAhmad Rasyidfauziahmqr@gmail.comHazem Brakatfauziahmqr@gmail.com
This article discusses the Qur’anic parables (amtsal) about worldly life as interpreted in al-Tafsir al-Munir by Wahbah az-Zuhaili. This study employs a qualitative method with a thematic (mawdhu'i) tafsir approach through library research, focusing on the meaning, role, and wisdom of amtsal related to worldly life in the Qur’an. The results show that Wahbah az-Zuhaili interprets worldly life as play and amusement, something trivial and distracting from the truth, and also as rain that makes plants grow, symbolizing the transient and perishable nature of worldly pleasures. The parables function as a reminder that worldly life is temporary and deceptive unless directed toward seeking Allah’s pleasure and preparing for the eternal Hereafter. The findings imply that understanding Qur’anic amtsal helps believers realize the true purpose of life, prioritize the Hereafter over worldly gains, and strengthen spiritual awareness in living a meaningful and balanced life.
2025-10-26T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Fauziah, Farid Fauzi, Ahmad Rasyid, Hazem Brakathttp://ejournal.staipiq.ac.id/index.php/misbah/article/view/110Al-Qisth in the Qur’an According to Sayyid Qutb’s Interpretation (A Study of the Book Fi Zhilal al-Qur’an)2024-11-06T07:34:47+00:00Diah Sri Komaladiahdidi877@gmail.comBuchari MDiahdidi877@gmail.comMuhammad Bin SuhaimiDiahdidi877@gmail.comM Ridwan Yusuf AlhamzyDiahdidi877@gmail.com
This study discusses the meaning of al-Qisth in the Qur’an according to the interpretation of Sayyid Qutb, the subjects and objects of al-Qisth in the Qur’an as explained by Sayyid Qutb, and the relevance of al-Qisth verses to social life. The research employs a qualitative approach in the form of document analysis and is library-based, limiting its activities exclusively to materials available in library collections. The author also applies the thematic (maudhu’i) method to interpret Qur’anic verses related to the topic under discussion. The findings indicate that the meaning of al-Qisth according to Sayyid Qutb encompasses both justice and the avoidance of injustice or corruption. In general, it also refers to placing everything in its proper position, accompanied by the capacity to fulfill one’s responsibilities. The subjects of al-Qisth include Allah SWT, the Prophet, scribes (in matters of debt), and the people of Prophet Shu‘ayb, while the objects include the justice of Allah SWT, transactions (debts), knowledgeable individuals, orphans, adopted children, judges, believers, non-Muslims, measures and weights, humans, and the jinn. The relevance of al-Qisth in social life can be seen in several aspects: treating others with fairness, upholding justice in society, applying justice in economic activities, and ensuring regulation and fairness within the family.
2025-10-26T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Diah Sri Komala, Buchari M, Muhammad Bin Suhaimi, M Ridwan Yusuf Alhamzy
