CB The Influence of Tahfidz Al-Qur'an on Improving the Quality of Student’s Memorization

Abstract

This study aims to test the effect of memorizing the Qur'an on improving the quality of students' memorization. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Data sources were taken from 60 people using the total sampling technique , where the sample was students in grades four, five, and six at Elementary School 02 Gunung Tuleh in the 2023/2024 academic year. The results of the study show that 1) The average memorization of the Qur'an (variable x) can be described as good , this can be seen from the mean value obtained, which is 70.55 which is in the interval 70-77. 2). The average increase in memorization quality (variable Y) can be described as good . This can be seen from the mean value obtained, which is 48.2 which is in the interval 48-50 . 3). There is an Influence of Tahfizh Al-Qur'an on Improving the Quality of Memorization of Students of SDN 02 Gunung Tuleh Pasaman Barat It is known that the value of the coefficient of determination R square is 0.029, thus there is a contribution between the variable (X) Tahfizh Al-Qur'an and the variable (Y) Improving the Quality of Memorization of students by 2.9% while the remaining 97.1% is influenced by other factors. Therefore Ha is rejected and Ho is accepted. The results of this study can be used as initial data for subsequent researchers in studying this problem in different contexts and issues.
